Charity Christmas lighting

Charity Christmas lighting

Post contributed by Josue Durham

Christmas has approached once again. This is the time of year our family loves to pile together into the family van, and visit a charity displayed Christmas lighting. Helping a charity while we sample the many different displays is one of many of the ways we give back during the holiday season.

The same day every year, or sometimes twice a year depending on our time and funds we will pile everyone into our van. But, before we leave I should set my www.securitychoice.com/ home alarm system before we go out to look at Christmas lights and decorations.

The trip to see the charity Christmas lights is almost as enjoyable as the trip through the park. We all look out the windows on the ride and try to find houses with displays and themes along the way. We are excited and enjoy every selection of lighting that we find.

When we finally reach our destination, we drive very slowly, enjoying all that the charity lighting event has to offer us also. Especially the lights that twinkles off the lake, this is always a beautiful display and every year we are amazed by the presentation and display.

We often forget the meaning of Christmas. It's not the presents or how much you spend on someone, but it is this special time that we make for one another.

Favorite Animated Christmas Special

Favorite Animated Christmas Special

I appreciate the guest post, Ignacio Phillips

I would be willing to bet that any person in the United States of America who celebrates Christmas has at least one personal memory of watching "A Charlie Brown Christmas." Nothing more epitomizes the Christmas season for me than Charlie Brown and I also love how I can be assured that no matter what kind of craziness the holidays may bring I can still look forward to continuing my favorite holiday tradition. All my family gathers together at the house I grew up in and we eat a huge Christmas dinner together and then we all sit in the living room in front of the satellite television Channels in HD and watch "A Charlie Brown Christmas." It has also been a wonderful experience to share and pass down this tradition to my children, who will undoubtedly pass the tradition down to their children as well. I am already looking forward to this year's viewing of my all time favorite Christmas special, "A Charlie Brown Christmas" and all the memories we will make and remember next year when we do it all over again.

Birthday presents

Mr. Benton thought he had had the last word when he presented his ex-wife with an unusual gift for her birthday. A tombstone on which he had carved, "Here lies my ex-wife Sonja.....cold as usual." Much to his surprise, however, his wife one-upped him for his birthday with a tombstone of his own on which she'd had carved, "Here lies my ex-husband Bennett.....stiff at last."

WebVisible

My hubby told me about an innovative way to use the information exchange provided by Twitter. He took me to a website that provide better explain how people use this unique way to be connected. After reading about WebVisible, I realized why my hubby and many others would benefit by using their service for business or personal reasons. So many businesses today don’t fully take advantage of how to use the internet to grow their business. Saving up

On the fourth day of their honeymoon, the 21 year old bride was begging for mercy from her 75 year old husband.

Rather than endure yet another lovemaking session, she slipped out of the room while he was showering and went to the hotel coffee shop.

The waitress, who had served the couple breakfast each day, was shocked at the woman's appearance.

"Honey, you're just a young thing," she remarked, "but you look like hell. What's up?"

"I've been double-crossed," the miserable bride moaned. "When he said he'd been saving up for 50 years, I thought he meant CASH!"

PetCareRx Complaints

We have a cat and don’t like what our local retailers have for pricing and availability for meds and other pet products. I have some friends that use a website called petztown to get what they need for their pets. They have never had any PetCareRx Complaints with this website, so I thought is was worth a try. After seeing what they have to offer, I can see why they recommended it to me so highly. To learn more about PetCareRx complaints, check out this website, petztown, and see how they can help you with your pet meds.

The smell of Christmas

Guest post written by Pat Whitley

It seems like as soon as it's the week of Thanksgiving, I'm constantly entertaining people in our house. But with a couple of two small children and three dogs, our house doesn't always smell so great. I'm really aware of that, so I'm always spraying air freshener or lighting candles to do that. But sometimes when people are staying over for a few hours to visit like during the holidays, I like to keep some potpourri going.

I thought that maybe instead of just buying tons of potpourri to last through all the entertaining I'm doing over the holidays, that I would try and find a way to make my own. While I was looking for some recipes to do that, I came across the website GetClearWirelessInternet.com and read through it. Our internet service hadn't been working too well lately, so I decided to change over our service to this new one I found.

I finally tracked down a good recipe for Christmas potpourri that I thought would be really good for what I wanted. Plus, I liked that I could make it on my own, which would be easier.

Pickle Slicer

Bill worked in a pickle factory. He had been employed there for a number of years when he came home one day to confess to his wife that he had a terrible compulsion.

He had an urge to stick his penis into the pickle slicer. His wife suggested that he should see a sex therapist to talk about it, but Bill indicated that he'd be too embarrassed. He vowed to overcome the compulsion on his own.

One day a few weeks later, Bill came home absolutely ashen. His wife could see at once that something was seriously wrong.

"What's wrong, Bill?" she asked.

"Do you remember that I told you how I had this tremendous urge to put my penis into the pickle slicer?"

"Oh, Bill, you didn't."

"Yes, I did."

"My God, Bill, what happened?"

"I got fired."

"No, Bill. I mean, what happened with the pickle slicer?"

"Oh...she got fired too."

Cartoon Network

Cartoon Network

Authored by Oswaldo Blackburn

One of my favorite children's networks is Cartoon Network. This particular channel specializes in cartoons and rarely has any show on that features real people. I've been watching this network since I was little and I've never grown tired of it. One of my favorite shows on the channel is Ed, Edd, and Eddy. This is a very popular one and I know I'm not the only one that loves it. In fact, I just recently watched it a few nights ago. It normally comes on at night and I love watching it before bed. Most of the older episodes are great, while some of the newer ones are just as good. I know a lot of people who think the older episodes are much better.

I love watching Cartoon Network on my satellite tv from www.expertsatellite.com/. Another show I enjoy is Johnny Bravo. I like this show because it revolves around a guy who thinks he's really macho and handsome, but he lives with his mother and acts like a real baby at times. He also hangs out with a little girl and a rather nerdy friend of his. I don't think they're making new episodes of this show, but the old ones are fantastic. Anytime I have free time, I love sitting back and enjoying some of my favorite cartoon shows on my favorite Cartoon Network channel.

New Tatoo

This lady goes into a tattoo parlor and asks the guy to put a tattoo of a turkey on her upper right thigh. She goes back to the same tattoo parlor two weeks later and asks him to tattoo a picture of a Christmas tree on her upper left thigh. Stumped, the guy finally decides to ask her why she wants these tattoos. She said, "I'm tired of my husband complaining every year that there is nothing to eat between Thanksgiving and Christmas."

Total Protecty Home Warranty

My brother told me they don’t have the coverage they need to protect themselves and their home. I told them about a website called merchantcircle.com that we used. This website is where we learned about the Total Protecty Home Warranty that was the perfect option for us. My brother agreed and said this was also the protection he needed to protect his home in the future. To learn more about Total Protecty Home Warranty, check out this website and see how they can help you. I can’t wait to tell my friends about what this website has to offer.

Are you searching for cheap items for a vehicle? Be sure to shop on Black Friday!

Are you searching for cheap items for a vehicle? Be sure to shop on Black Friday!

Thanks for the guest post by Fabian Wall

For people who own a vehicle, or multiple vehicles, they also know that it gets expensive to take care of them. The items needed for maintaining engines and the exterior and interior of a car can be downright expensive. These items are easy to find, but hard on the wallet. This is why I always make sure to save a bunch of money for Black Friday. The day after Thanksgiving is great for shopping for expensive items. Not only does almost every store have discounted items, there are many maintenance places that offer discounts. Tires are expensive in Alaska due to the crazy weather. I learned to buy tires on Black Friday so that I have them when I need them.

I don't know much about vehicles other than how to make them look nice. I take my stepfather with me every year and we go around to all the best stores. He helps set me up with the best items that I can use for my vehicle, as well as keeping me from being ripped off or overspending. This is why I love Black Friday! The automotive stores are a great place to get spark plugs, windshield wipers, tires, and even engine fluid on this day. Getting these ahead of time is good because I don't have to worry about it at the last minute. I make sure to set my home security alarm system (specials HOME SECURITY SYSTEMS) before shopping though, because robberies are common on Black Friday.

A Hell of a Party

A guy goes to the pharmacist and says, "Listen, these two girls are coming over this weekend, and they are hot, very hot. Would you have something to get me going all night? It's going to be a hell of a party."

The pharmacist goes in the back room, comes back with an old dusty bottle and says, "This stuff is potent: drink only one ounce of it, and I guarantee that you will be doing the wild thing all night. Let me know how it goes."

The weekend goes by and on Monday morning, the pharmacist goes to work and finds the same guy waiting for him on the door-step. The pharmacist says, "What are you doing here so early? How was your weekend?" The guy replies, "Quick, I need Blue Ice (muscle pain relief).

The pharmacist, knowing what the guy had been doing all weekend, says, "Are you crazy, you can't put that on your penis. The skin is way too sensitive."

The guy says, "No, no, It's not for that, it's for my arm."

Pharmacist: "What?? What happened?"

Guy replies, "Well...I drank the whole bottle of your potion."

Pharmacist: "Oh my god, and then what ? "

"The girls never showed up!"

Kids Picking it Out

Kids Picking it Out

Thanks for the post from Margie Kline

Every year Christmas comes around and we go shopping for the largest tree we can find. Since I have two boys, they love the trip almost more then I do. They run around the Christmas tree yard and work on picking out the tallest, fattest tree they can. There is always this same tree yard down the street from us that we have turned into a tradition to visit. Before we leave, I set the security alarm (adt Denver cellguard) to ensure the gifts waiting to grace the bottom of our new tree is safe, and then we head down the street to find our perfect tree. It's always a fun experience since the boys get to touch and smell the different types of trees, exploring the true smell of Christmas. They even get the opportunity to trim it from time to time. They love getting to help the workers trim the bottom of the tree, and any large branches that are hanging too wide to get it inside our home. This year, we moved into a new two story so the opportunity to get an even taller tree is there, so I can't wait to see just how massive our tree ends up being this year.
