Older science fiction shows are fun to watch. I personally love all of the series in the Star Trek empire. They are a must watch for any true sci fi fan. Fortunately, these great shows can be seen almost any time of day on various cable channels on my satellite tv from www.Tvbydirect.com. The original Star Trek series with William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy is such a classic. I know that some of the costumes, props, and lines are cheesy and dated. Yet, there is still something special about the chemistry of the cast that propelled the Star Trek dynasty. I was thrilled when the series was brought back in the form of Star Trek Next Generation. In fact, I had a crush on Captain Picard. I loved his assertive yet caring bald head! The Klingon Worf was a fantastic addition to the crew. At first, I found Star Trek Deep Space 9 to be a little dark but after several episodes I was hooked. The varied cast and story lines are great. In the Star Trek Voyager series, Captain Janeway successfully became the first female captain who was strong yet nurturing. Their journey to return home from the Delta quadrant and encounters with Q and the Borgs (including 7of9) were wonderfully entertaining. Finally, the prequel series Enterprise was creative and written well to introduce the "future."

Fun with my hubby

I'm done cleaning up the kitchen tonight. Now I can sit back and relax while watching a movie with my hubby. The weather has been cold and windy today. We didn't do much except visiting my in-laws and went grocery shopping at Target. Right now, I'm having fun watching a movie with my husband.

Costco with in-laws

One of my daughter’s friends just turned one year old yesterday. He is all over the house, crawling and climbing in different rooms . Eczema

Rachel has had eczema since she was a little baby.  Since she turned three year old luckily it seems to have gotten better.  The only spots she itches now are on hers arms and behind her knees.  Her skin doesn't look red or dry in those areas, so we are not sure why she itches there.
