But

But with his job going on tonight, I don’t think he can do it. Our daughter, Rachel usually goes to bed around 8 pm and he expects to be home like 9 or 10 tonight. That’s pretty late for our daughter especially since she didn’t take a nap this afternoon.

Most of my friends are having problems when it comes to losing weight. I told them since I had a baby about three years ago, I have had a hard time losing the extra pounds I gain. I am always entertained by funny yard signs that are posted in yards. The funniest animal crossing sign I have ever seen read, “CAUTION: PYGMY PIG CROSSING”. I thought—are you kidding--- I don’t know that I have even ever seen a pygmy pig! There are the signs that are made to look like home security signs that warn you that the house is protected. I saw one in Tennessee one time that read, “ Home protected by the spirit of Elvis.” It was entertaining, but I could not help to think if the sign was a joke or if one of the over the top, die-hard Elvis fans really believed that the home was protected by the spirit of Elvis! I saw a yard sign that was made to look like a crossing sign. It was yellow and black in the shape of the pedestrian crossing signs. It read, “Caution: Mother-in-Law Crossing”. My mother-in-law would absolutely die if I posted a sign like that in our yard. Although I would never put signs likes these in my yard, I do enjoy seeing them in other people’s.

Helps

Our daughter is not feeling good today. She has some flu symptoms going on right now and coughs a lot the whole day today. I give her a lot of water which really helps her a lot. Right now she’s sleeping so soundly in her bed. We hope that she will feel better tomorrow morning when she wakes up.

Raining

I didn’t go out today because it’s been raining and it’s cold outside. Our daughter wants to go to the pool but she was coughing a lot this afternoon. I told her when she feels better I will take her to the pool and we can go swimming. She was so happy after hearing what I told her.
